A special addition to this year’s show is the first annual “Instrument Petting Zoo” on Saturday, April 16th from 1:00 — 2:30 pm. Tickets to the April 16th, Saturday 3:00 pm Matinee show include free admission for children of all ages to The Instrument Petting Zoo to experience, firsthand, the percussion instruments featured in this year’s Drumshow! With the adult supervision of North Central College’s Percussion Methods Music Education Students, imagine a “sound museum” with you and your child’s hand at the helm.
(Parents, please accompany your children.)
Even adults will find the opportunity to encounter critters like water gongs, wind chimes, cymbals, timpani, vibraphones, snare drums, and much more to be an exciting, ear-opening experience! Join us for a loud experiment in the beautiful, new NCHS Band Room Saturday, April 16th 1:00 — 2:30
(Like a museum exhibit, you can come and go as you wish, no need to arrive exactly at 1:00).
Please enter through the auditorium lobby. Families not attending the April 16th, 3:00pm Drumshow performance are still invited for a suggested donation of $4 per individual at the door.
